Dot`s Dairy Bar in Pawtucket

It's under new ownership by the purple cow, not sure of they're still calling it dots. As a true Rhode islander though, it'll always be dots on Newport ave. Ice cream awesome with tons of variety plus a lot of different toppings. Hard to disappoint here.

Nice place to go for ice cream quickly

There lineup of ice cream both soft serve and hard are amazing. You can get a bite to eat across the street and then ice cream right after. They do shakes, floats, sundaes etc.

Great portions - great service - the wait is worth it

Surprisingly delightful. The sizes are huge, I can barely get down a medium! 😀Plentiful flavors and toppings! The option between soft and hard serve make this place even better! I wish this place was open year round but still by far the best ice cream shop in all of Pawtucket maybe even Rhode Island!!!

It is a quaint little shop , reminiscent of the old days. The staff are friendly and quick to fill my order. My new favorite place in Pawtucket to get an ice cream!!

We always enjoy it here. The former owner, Anthony Volante was always friendly and courteous. Purple Cow has just bought the place. I wish them success. Their stand at Baker's Corner is a class act too, so I continue to be optimistic.

Went here late on a Friday night as a sendoff to solids for my wife. She and I took a moment to gaze upon the menu board, admiring the variety. Ice creams in every shape, size, color, and flavor called to us, begging to be consumed. We finally made our selections and sat solemnly at one of the outdoor tables, overcome by the dairy goodness. This place is a hidden gem. Quality product, fair prices, friendly staff, the whole nine yards. Forget Friendly's. Dot's is where it's at.

Great flavors, great customer service, great selection. Much closer than driving to the other location in Seekonk. Prices are the same as original location in Seekonk. Two large ice creams ( 3 scoops) 1 was soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles, the other was death by chocolate with chocolate sprinkles both in a cup. Paid less than $10 without tip. Wasn't busy at the time line went quickly, both windows were open. I know on summer parking can get bad, the line huge. But very worth it. Thanks Purple Cow for the first ice cream of the season ! Here's to many more !

Good ice cream prices are a little high

Was there last night. Ice Cream was great. It looks like the new name is "The Purple Cow". The Almond Joy ice cream is really, really good!!!!!

It would be nice if we could eat indoors. We asked and were told the dining room was for employees only. We had to eat outside at the tables in the heat. I had my infant nephew along with my parents. Too hot for my parents and baby. I will need to go elsewhere especially if I have my parents and baby with me.

New owner! Now the Purple Cow 2nd location. Better prices and offerings.

Who doesn't love ice cream? Lots of ice cream options and several ice cream beverages as well, and the quality is very good, a definite must have when you cross the border into RI.

We had a very good banana split. And the owner did an excellent job with the social distancing. I felt very comfortable eating there good job

This new owner took over a neighborhood ice cream parlor that was long established and well-loved. I did not like the fact that most of the flavors I liked are no longer available and the waffle cones now taste like cardboard. Sometimes progress isn't.

My wife loved it. She reminisced about her favorite new England ice cream places and this was 1 of her favorites
